About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Human Resources Business Partner, based in Lethbridge, AB.
As a trusted member of our team, the Senior Business Partner provides expert guidance and dedicated support to leadership and employees on a broad range of labour relations, human resources, and people and culture processes and activities.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing strategic consulting services and guidance in the areas of complex employee relations cases
- Managing labour and union-management relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement
- Providing advice on job design, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Formulating partnerships across People & Partner Services to deliver value-added services to senior leaders, management, and employees that reflect the organization’s business objectives
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 years of progressive senior HR experience, with an emphasis on strategic labour relations and an understanding of collective agreement interpretation and application.
The following skills and experience will be strong assets:
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- CPHR designation or eligibility to obtain it
- Working familiarity and background in classification, compensation, and costing models
- Advanced organizational change management experience
- Working knowledge of HRIS such as PeopleSoft
